If there is anything consoling
about having to die
and go to the hereafter
It is the thought
that when I get there
I will meet all my wonderful four legged friends
who were lost to me over the years
It will be quite a party!
Together we’ll frolic
dance and sing
chase each other
rest in the sun
and finally doze off
in a sweet slumber
all cuddled close together
smiling
knowing that this is
forever!
