The Bubble
I walk the world
So lonely and desolate
Don’t touch me
Don’t say a word
It’s my mommy I want!
Nothing can console me.
I sit in the bubble
Anxious, worried,
Waiting for her to come back.
I am just a child,
It’s so hard to maintain the bubble
All by myself.
The walls are so thin
So fragile
It might burst
And the world out there
So scary.
You are wrong when you say she doesn’t love me
You are wrong when you say she doesn’t care
Be quiet
Stay away
You can’t come in
It’s a bubble for two
No one is allowed in
It’s for my mommy and me only
She’ll be back, you’ll see
And with her
The world is complete
We have each other
We need nothing else
