The surface I most commonly use for my furniture is Sculptomold  (clay like substance that does not need firing) and ceramic shapes I embed in it. I use old ready-made pieces (except Ocean Table which I built from scratch) and give them a new look.

  For the mosaic furniture I use ready made cut glass, which I often cut into smaller squares and triangles.

  The Tile table is made from handmade tiles. The wet
clay was rolled and cut into 4”x4” tiles and carved in
different designs. When the tiles were dry they were
bisque fired than glazed and fired again.
